    LSU’s Master of Social Work (MSW) degree will prepare you to tackle social problems and assist those in need to improve their lives. Our holistic and multifaceted program ensures you will be prepared to make a difference in your local community and beyond.

    Our program is CSWE accredited, affordable and convenient with options for full-time or part-time, advanced standing, cohorts and dual degree programs. You can take classes completely online or in a traditional classroom in Baton Rouge.

    Graduates can work in direct clinical practice in a variety of areas such as mental health, substance abuse, aging/gerontology, healthcare, schools, public health, suicide prevention, disabilities, intimate partner violence, veteran/military care, LGBTQ care, and children & families.
